Urban living (week 9)

This picture shows a breathtaking coastal scenery. It is a long beach belonging to an isolated island surrounded by wild nature. Unfortunately, in 50 years this beach will be a touristic attraction as people will build luxury hotels and spend holidays there relaxing under the sun. In addition, many boats will arrive at the island in order to transport tourists, and it will pollute the water, damaging the species living there. It would be a pity not to respect nature.

If I had to choose a place to live in Spain, it would definetely be Barcelona as it is nearby the sea and there is plenty of history and culture in its streets. In addition, a great amount of important events take place there such as the Olympics and several concerts.

If I had to choose somewhere to live abroad my country, I would go to London due to the fact that it is a multicultural city and I would learn a lot while meeting new people. I would love to live there as people is really polite and I am sure I would make friends.  I would also practice my English.

I would extremely enjoy living in Santa Monica as it is a coastal area in Los Angeles where you can have so much fun by visiting the theme park nearby the beach or practising water sports. Besides, it is a big city so you will never stop discovering new places. It would be imposible to get bored.

As a matter of fact, this week I have been listening to the radio in English as my father is an English Student as well and enjoys listening to the weather forecast in the radio at mornings. All family is reunited around the radio when having breakfast and we practice our listening.
