Personal opinion ( week 15)


As a matter of fact taking part on this activity has been really useful as I have improved my writing skills. In addition, I found it interesting as I have been writing about different topics and I have had to research in order to get informed and talk properly. Furthermore, it has not been complicated as basically the task consisted on giving my opinion about every question asked. Not only I have learned English but also I have had fun. 

Being able to do these writings whenever I want is also convenient as I can organize myself the way I find more suitable for me. It is an advantage for those who are extremely busy because of work or sport activities during the week as well.

I cannot think of anything in order to improve this activity as it has been developed  to practice English in a fun and comfortable way. It helps students to improve their writing skills and learn new vocabulary. 






I am a huge fan of Lady Gaga so I am subscribed to a blog where people next to her upload information on her tours, performances or personal life. She had recently appeard on a film so I have been all week long reading interviews and information about this new project. Due to the fact that she is american, all the information is posted in English.

Advice, modal verbs (week 4)

Firstly, we can appreciate an expression related to advice in the second paragraph as it says ''the first step you need to take is to determine...'' as the person writing this letter is encouraging the reader to determine what he would like to specialize on the sooner as possible. A few sentences later we can find the expression '' The most important thing here is to pick what...'' where the writer is making the reader aware of the fact that the most important thing is to follow his heart in order to choose an area of study in which he would really enjoy. The same happens at the end of the text when he says ''you need to do something that you enjoy and love'', once again the writer is advicing the reader in order to do what he loves the most. What I have lived for

One of the most important things for me in life is my family. Not only my parents and younger brother but all of my close relatives as well. They are the one who always support me no matter what. I do love their attitude, the way they make me laugh whenever it seems like my mouth has disappeared from my face. I would like making them as happy as they make me feel. My friends are in addition an important part of myself to consider. I spend with them most of my time and we share not only hobbies but emotions as well. It is due to the fact that we are from similar ages so we go through similar problems and use to confront them in group, by supporting each other and going out and about just in order to forget about problems for a few minutes and remember that we are young and we should enjoy the positive facts about life. You live and learn (week 11)

As a matter of fact, studying and working abroad would be an enriching opportunity. Germany is a big country which creates great job oppotunities for foreigners who had not been able to success in their own country. Not only the educational system in Germany is free but it is also one of the most popular in Europe. After leaving university, it is really easy to find a job which suits each person according to their studies. Besides, students would learn the language and make some friends. Leaving Germany would be difficult for them, they will enjoy the experience for sure.  Being a student in Ireland has several advantages. There is a great amount of recognized univerisities where students can develop their studying skills while learning some English. Studying in Ireland would also be beneficial according to the fact that it has a well-funded educational system.
