Odd inventions (week 8)





This invention consists on a little fan which is incorporated into spoons in order to cool down the soup when it is extremely hot. Sometimes people are in a rush and they do not have time to eat anything cause they are running out of time so they just pick up something quick. This amazing invention has been designed so that people can eat elaborated food without having to wait for so long for the food to cool down. In addition this is going to prevent many children from burning, as they are really impatient. To sum-up I will say that this creation is incredibly useful and in a few years everyone will be using it. 





In order to improve my English skills, this week I have been talking to my brother in English at home. He is 17 years old and he has a great English level as he is really talented at idioms. He also enjoys watching TV in English so this week we have seen a series called ''The Haunting Hill House'' which we have both loved. Next week we have decided to watch ''Sabrina'' in original version, as we are not only keen on magic but also want to learn new vocabulary.

Firstly, we can appreciate an expression related to advice in the second paragraph as it says ''the first step you need to take is to determine...'' as the person writing this letter is encouraging the reader to determine what he would like to specialize on the sooner as possible. A few sentences later we can find the expression '' The most important thing here is to pick what...'' where the writer is making the reader aware of the fact that the most important thing is to follow his heart in order to choose an area of study in which he would really enjoy. The same happens at the end of the text when he says ''you need to do something that you enjoy and love'', once again the writer is advicing the reader in order to do what he loves the most. What I have lived for

One of the most important things for me in life is my family. Not only my parents and younger brother but all of my close relatives as well. They are the one who always support me no matter what. I do love their attitude, the way they make me laugh whenever it seems like my mouth has disappeared from my face. I would like making them as happy as they make me feel. My friends are in addition an important part of myself to consider. I spend with them most of my time and we share not only hobbies but emotions as well. As a matter of fact, studying and working abroad would be an enriching opportunity. Germany is a big country which creates great job oppotunities for foreigners who had not been able to success in their own country. Not only the educational system in Germany is free but it is also one of the most popular in Europe. After leaving university, it is really easy to find a job which suits each person according to their studies. Besides, students would learn the language and make some friends. Leaving Germany would be difficult for them, they will enjoy the experience for sure.  Being a student in Ireland has several advantages. There is a great amount of recognized univerisities where students can develop their studying skills while learning some English.
